“And Mary said, ‘Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.’ And the angel departed from her.” - Luke 1:38.
Humble. Obedient. Courageous.
This is the heart of Mary. A woman called to a life she didn’t expect, called into a holy scandal. She suffered slander and stigma and was shunned. And yet, God redeemed it all. May we also, like Mary, treasure up these things, pondering them in our heart (Luke 2:19) so that we may delight in, declare, and display the gospel of Jesus Christ--even when our circumstances are not what we would have liked or imagined.
Join the women of Sovereign Grace Church for a time of fellowship and teaching. Enjoy a light breakfast, followed by worship in song, and a message on Mary from Delaine Gamache.
Let us band together and pursue a courageous heart in Christ together!
December 9th, 9-11am, at Oak Grove Middle School.
